Exhibition at the Kulturbüro St.Gallen
Acrylic Painting on Window and Wood
February–March 2023
From the beginning of February to the end of March 2023, the shop window and counter of the St. Gallen Cultural Office were redesigned. The aim was to create an eye-catching, colourful shop window that could be seen from a distance.
The project deals with human connection and moments of enjoyment. Food serves as a central motif and symbol of closeness, exchange and sensory experience. In terms of content, the work addresses elementary, everyday themes such as love, food, being awake and sleeping.
Two heads were painted directly onto the glass of the shop window using acrylic paint – one with closed eyes, the other with open eyes – complemented by a floating heart in the middle. Inside, a painted dessert table was placed on the counter. It stands for joy, seduction and conscious enjoyment, while also referring to the need for mindfulness. This attitude is transferred to love, trust and interpersonal relationships, which also require care and attention.

2023
In May 2023, a window of a building in St. Gallen was decorated. As the building is planned to be used as a family space in the future, a thematically appropriate motif was chosen: a bear family consisting of Mama Bear and two cubs. The bears also represent the heraldic animal of the city of St. Gallen. The design was painted directly onto the window pane using acrylic paint.
